Lizard Misty was a narcissist silver saint who considered himself inferior only to the goddess Athena herself. Misty made it clear when he was sent to Japan leading his fellow Silver Saints of the 1st. Squadron of Executors to deal with the “renegade” Bronze Saints.
The Lacerta constellation is one of the more modern constellations that lacks any real myth behind it.
A lizard however does make a minor appearance in Greek myth; when the goddess Demeter first realized her daughter Persephone was missing, not knowing the girl had been kidnapped by Hades, Demeter began weeping heavily. A young boy saw her and, having never seen an adult cry before, began laughing. Angered, Demeter turned the boy into a lizard for his insensitivity.
Misty trained to be a Saint in Côte d’Azur, France by an unknown master. The cloth was likely kept in Sanctuary until a Saint worthy of wearing it was found. He follows the orders of the Pope, and is the first Silver Saint to attack Seiya and his fellow Bronze Saints. He manages to do some damage to Seiya, but falls due to his own avoidance of damage, and Seiya’s growth.
The Cloth was seen briefly at the beginning of the holy war, and during a gathering of Saints in Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas, but has only rarely been seen since.
