Sometime during the 18th century, Wimber was sought by the Bat Specters’ soul and Surplice. Hades had been reborn and the seal on the Specters’ demon stars had been released, thus all the 108 warriors of Hades had been revived. As he recognised his oath to serve Hades, Wimber travelled to the Forest Cathedral in “Italy” to join his fellow Specters to await the awakening of Hades and the impending war with Athena and her 88 Saints. When their lord had finally awakened, it was in the body of a young boy named Alone. Alone wished to introduce himself and ordered an audience with all of the 108 Specters. As Wimber and the others had gathered in Hades throne room in the cathedral, they were shown an image of the constellations above them. The constellations represented each of the Saints, and as one was killed their respective constellation disappeared from there. Hades had personally killed the Pegasus Saint but who would eventually revive later. The god asked the Specters if they wanted to paint the Earth in the colour of darkness for him. Wimber said yes in choir with the others. Sometime later, Pandora had grown concerned with Hades’ bond with Pegasus Tenma since he had been revealed to still be alive. She decided that the Saint could not affect her lord any more and called for her assassins. Dullahan Cube and Bat Wimber were summoned to appear in front of her. The Lady ordered them and Frog Zelos to travel to Sanctuary and assassinate the Pegasus Saint. Wimber accepted it gracefully and said there would be no feat in killing the Bronze Saint.
The assassins managed to make their way into the sanctuary during nightfall and remained undetected. They soon found their target engaged in a sparring match with the Gold Saint Taurus Aldebaran and with the latter’s disciples watching on. Wimber sent out his swarm of bats and used his Nightmare Sonar technique that lulled all five of them to sleep. He commented the bats for lulling them to sleep, calling them his clones. Cube walked up to the sleeping Tenma, and was just about to strike him a killing blow when Aldebaran appeared behind him still awake. The Specter wondered how he had been able to withstand the Nightmare Sonar to what the Saint replied that he had pierced his eardrums and could not hear him. Cube was in awe to the man’s determination and was preoccupied to evade Aldebaran’s Great Horn attack which injured Cube and destroyed half of his mask. As the Taurus Saint was distracted by Cube, Wimber sent his flock of bats to distract the Saint further and did in so attack the Saint with a fierce stab to his side. Wimber called him an interesting guy for destroying his own hearing to counter the Nightmare Sonar. He continued to say that it would not matter because the shock waves would affect his nerves so that his movements will be hindered. Before he attacked again he licked the blood on his hand from the Saint and affirmed it was the Taurus blood. Cube however insisted he would do it since he had broken his mask and that Pandora would be pleased if they killed a Gold Saint as well to which Wimber agreed. The Dullahan Specter attacked first, followed by Wimber who said he also wanted to have fun. And so they continued to attack until Wimber had found a weak spot he kept jabbing at, and when he had striked what he thought was the last jab he grinned as the blood splattered. But Aldebaran suddenly grabbed him by the throat and started to squeeze, saying that he had no idea what they were saying, their punches was not so great and that he would not let such trash kill the Pegasus Saint. And with the he smashed Wimber into the ground with such force that the Bat Specter died shortly after. As he died his flock of bats scattered and flew away into the night.
